Welcome to the Multicultural Aged Care Library Catalogue

Here you will find a collection of resources focusing on the cultural and linguistic aspects of aged and community care. Resources available for loan include books, training materials, DVDs, music, activities, armchair travel, games and communication aids.

Membership to the MAC Library is free for everyone!

Up to 10 items can be borrowed and loan periods are for 4 weeks. Loan extensions can be negotiated on request. Resources can be mailed to a postal address, and a reply paid address can be supplied for returns.

How To Join

To join the MAC Library fill in, sign and return the membership form by post, fax or email.

Mobile Library Service

The MAC Mobile Library service is a pilot service that endeavours to support aged care workers in providing culturally appropriate care, by supplying resources directly to the worker. This is achieved through on-site visits with information and resources tailored to the needs of the facility.
