520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. "Painted church woodcuts
The film presents the outstanding pieces of Hungarian painted carpentry works, partly through the details of the churches of Kispetri, Vilonya, Hódmezővásárhely, Magyarokerek and Mezőcsát in the collection of the Ethnographic Museum, and partly with the photographs made in the churches of Zubonyi, Újváros and Szentsimon.

Hungarian folk costumes 1. Historical layers of clothing
The film depicts the structure of the costume of the Hungarian people, the types of clothes used in general, and their development and historical changes. The most important pieces of folk costume, which was formed in the 20th century, are shown by the Bujska costume.

Furniture design 1. Acoustics, carpenters
The film presents the two basic techniques of folk furniture making, the craftsmanship of furniture, and the furniture of the desks. The architecture technique is illustrated by an archive film detail made in 1955. The 87-year-old carpenter at Mezőkövesdi presents the technique of making a carpenter's furniture using the example of a violin-arm chair.

National symbols in Hungarian folk art
From the Folk Art of the Ethnographic Museum, the film presents the most important national symbols, the country, the national colors and the national flag, the hussar, and the shape of Kosuth, their shape and meaning.

Pottery 1. The practice of cooking pots
The film introduces the basic branch of bowl and pottery, as well as various pots made by pottery and pottery masters.

Pottery 2. Use of pottery pots
The function of pottery pots is very different, depending on the quality of the material, from the use of the fire to the storage of the liquid. The film follows the varied use of pottery pots.

Pottery 3. Pottery Centers
The learning of pottery has always been directly done in traditional workshops in urban environments, within guilds. The regional styles of pottery create a very colorful picture of both their technique and their decorations. They preserve an old European tradition that can be found just under the Carpathian Basin."--from back cover.
