Summary: A summer tour around Slovakia can be just as eventful and exciting as skiing in winter on the slopes of the snow-covered Tatra Mountains. Walking in the sunshine through the historical cities is a real charm. The architectural sights and atmosphere of the capital, Bratislava;Kamarno;the mining towns, Bardejov, Presov and Kosice offer visitors a pleasant time. During our wanderings in the city centers and the small villages we get the sense of walking around in a jewellery box. Nature itself offers tourists plenty to see in all seasons of the year. For hikers the famous Slovak Paradise National Park is a real paradise und the beauty of the Domica stalactite cave in the Slovak Karst National Park can be admired during a pleasant stroll. The Tatra Mountains are a must-see even in summer: there probably isn’t a tourist who didn’t climb up at least once to the Lomnici-peak at 2634 meters, where we can really have our heads above the clouds.
