A collection of stories and recipes, all learnt at their mothers' elbows, from members of a Perth-based group of refugee women ("Women Together") who came together weekly to cook, share their culture, recipes and friendship. The dishes originated in homes in Afghanistan, Brazil, Vietnam, Liberia, Iraq, El Salvador, Iran and Sudan.
